American Focus
American Focus is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the creation of original, independently-produced films about important stories in American life. AF was incorporated in 1989 and the first project was the production of Out of Ireland, our feature-length documentary about Irish emigration to America.
Recently completed projects include Good Work: Masters of the Building Arts, our collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution that recently aired on PBS, and Black in Blue, our feature documentary about the four University of Kentucky football players who broke the color line in the Southeastern Conference in the 1960s.
